are massages painful?

The level of pain you feel during a massage depends on the type of massage and condition of your muscles /connective tissue. A light relaxing massage should not hurt. However, you might feel more pressure with deep tissue or sports massage. *It is important to always communicate with your therapist to adjust pressure.

Should i undress fully for my massage?

You don’t need to completely undress. The main focus is for you to be relaxed and comfortable, undress to comfort level.

I’m self conscious about __. What should i do?

*Weight, unwanted body hair, scars, acne or other skin blemishes. Please don’t let this stop you from getting help from a therapist. If you are sensitive about a particular area, ask your therapist to avoid it. Know that your therapists are friendly, supportive, and judgment free.

Should i talk to my massage therapist during my massage?

Some people prefer to chat during their session, but don’t feel you have to make conversation, unless it helps you relax.

How can i get discounts?

We offer memberships and package deals. We also offer $10 discount for a referral / review / tag us on instagram. 10% discounts on your birthday.

Should i get a massage if i’m not in pain?

It can be used as a preventative treatment as well as relaxation which has many benefits including lowering cortisol levels and loosening tight muscles.

what if i fall asleep, drool, or snore?

There is zero judgment from us if you do any of these things. We are pleased you are relaxed. These habits are common. Ask for a tissue and we’ll be glad to grab one for you.

What if i need the bathroom?

We recommend going before your massage session. However, it can occasionally happen that you’ll need to go during your massage session. Simply speak up and let your therapist know.

What if i pass gas during my session?

When you are in a relaxed state, you might pass gas during your massage session. It might even occur when the therapist applies direct pressure to a particular area. Any massage therapist will let you know that this is normal. You will get zero judgment from your therapist.
